Whole Home Renovation - Palm Coast FL copy

Situated in Palm Coast’s C Section, this residence represented an important next chapter for its owners. After owning the property as a rental for some time, they decided to transform it into their permanent home for retirement. They came to Crest Residential Construction with a clear vision for their home renovation in Palm Coast: a residence that reflected their individual taste while providing the spaces, comforts, and distinctive details they were ready to enjoy.

Being entrusted with such a personal undertaking meant a great deal to our team. This was a home the owners had worked toward, and the renovation represented a significant commitment to their future. Our responsibility was to listen closely, develop their ideas with care, and carry their vision through every stage of the project.

A Whole-Home Renovation Designed for Palm Coast Living

The transformation began at the front of the property, where the original arched windows and French entry doors were removed as part of a redesigned front elevation. These changes gave the residence a cleaner, more contemporary appearance, while new soffits and gutters extended the improvements along the roofline.

The redesigned exterior became an introduction to the custom details taking shape throughout the home, establishing a more modern architectural character while maintaining a comfortable residential feel.

Custom Kitchen Renovation and Architectural Millwork

At the heart of this Palm Coast home renovation, the kitchen balances the warmth of full-height wood cabinetry with crisp white finishes and pale, polished flooring. Carefully aligned wood panels create an elegant backdrop while concealing pass-through doors within the millwork.

Rather than interrupting the cabinetry with conventional doors, these hidden passageways blend seamlessly into the surrounding woodwork. The result is one of the home’s most distinctive expressions of custom design and an example of the detailed planning incorporated throughout the renovation.

Modern Kitchen Features and Finishes

A generous island with a waterfall countertop anchors the kitchen, creating a clean contrast to the surrounding wood tones. Along the cooking wall, slender blue-green mosaic tiles rise behind the stainless-steel hood, introducing depth, color, and a subtle reflective quality.

Monogram appliances complement the custom cabinetry, while FreePower wireless charging is integrated directly into the countertop. Together, these elements create a kitchen that combines the appearance the homeowners envisioned with the everyday conveniences they wanted, without allowing one to compromise the other.

High-End Interior Finishes and Smart Home Details

Throughout the interior, Level 5 wall finishes provide exceptionally smooth surfaces that complement the home’s clean architectural lines. Leviton smart switches and Fittes outlet plates carry that same attention to detail into the electrical finishes.

From expansive custom millwork to the fixtures and controls used every day, the practical elements of the residence received the same consideration as its more prominent design features. This attention to both form and function is an important part of our approach to custom home renovation in Palm Coast.

Custom Bathroom Renovations

The bathrooms provided an opportunity to express the homeowners’ personality in more intimate spaces. In the primary bathroom, a Kohler digital shower system introduces modern convenience to a retreat designed around comfort and relaxation.

Each of the home’s three guest bathrooms was given its own distinct theme, expressed through individual combinations of tile, cabinetry, fixtures, and finishes. While every bathroom has a character of its own, each is connected to the others through a consistent standard of design and craftsmanship.

Creating a Seamless Indoor-Outdoor Living Space

The relationship between indoor and outdoor living was equally important to this Palm Coast renovation. A three-panel panoramic sliding glass door system opens the main living area to the custom summer kitchen and pool, creating an inviting transition between the home’s interior and its covered outdoor entertaining space.

Custom Summer Kitchen and Outdoor Entertaining Area

A full-height mosaic wall brings together shades of aqua, teal, and muted earth tones, providing a richly textured backdrop for the built-in stainless-steel grill. Light, softly veined countertops and a separate sink complete the summer kitchen.

Above, a Synergy tongue-and-groove wood ceiling introduces warmth to the outdoor living area. Its long horizontal lines provide a quiet visual contrast to the shimmering vertical tile below, creating a sophisticated space designed for year-round Florida living and entertaining.

Detailed Preconstruction Planning

The complexity of this whole-home renovation in Palm Coast made preconstruction an essential part of the process. Floor plans, realistic renderings, and detailed selection coordination helped translate the homeowners’ ideas into a clear direction before construction moved forward.

Concealed passageways, custom cabinetry, appliances, lighting, fixtures, and finishes were considered together rather than treated as isolated decisions. That coordination continued throughout construction, with close attention paid to the details necessary to preserve the character and intent of the original design.
